The Journey… Adventures with God A four session retreat [CLICK HERE to listen to an audio clip of this presentation] Sometimes we are so focused on arriving, on achieving our goal, that we forget how much can be learned along the way. Committing to journey on with God not only changes our destination, it changes how we get there! This humorous four-session retreat is based on some of Michele’s Safaris in Africa, as well as her amazing testimony of how God brought her family from half way across the world to live in the United States. You will learn many valuable Biblical lessons along the way! You will laugh, you will cry, but most of all you will be encouraged … God keeps His promises and He carries us when our strength is gone! Pack Light! Any journey has a starting point and as we look at scriptures from Matthew and 2 Samuel we’ll be challenged about what we’ve brought along with us! Follow the Map! Sometimes following God is easier than at other times, but are we prepared to follow even when He leads us by a way we would not have chosen for ourselves? In this session we look at what can be learned from God’s dealing with Joshua in Joshua Chapter 3. Trust the Driver! There’s nothing worse than being on a journey when you’re continually second guessing the driver. This message based out of Mark’s Gospel encourages us: God will use even the dire circumstances of life to grow us and our relationship with Him in new ways. Remember Your Destination! We’re drawn back to God’s Word which speaks most powerfully as to how to retain our focus. As important as the twists in the road might seem to us at the time; as hard as some roadblocks are to endure; as alluring as rest areas can be for us along the way; God calls us into His Presence where true rest is found!

Surprised by God! A four or five session retreat In this four or five session retreat is based on some of the miracles that Jesus performed and how these relate to the way we live for Him in our own circumstances of today.  So often in the Gospels people focused more on the problem they faced, than upon the One who was able to transform their situation. You will be encouraged and challenged in your own walk with the Lord through these very practical accounts of those who were surprised by God!

Deeper into Trust Where do you go when things in life take a turn for the worst? As you stand with Mary at the empty tomb, learn from her how Christ may once again fill your heart with hope and your life with joy. Deeper into Abundance The river that flows from His presence brings abundant life and fruitfulness. This delightfully funny message anchored in Ezekiel 47 will send you out with a challenge from the Word of God. It’s up to you how deep you’re willing to go!

In the Garden This two session retreat is perfect for morning conferences. The Planting God has planted gardens throughout Scripture and in each He communicates amazing truths about Himself to us. Join Michele in a walk through some of them. The Watering Based on personal experience, Michele shares how we can have a “well-watered garden” blossom within our own heart, despite the often “sun-scorched” circumstances of life.
